Ok, my family wouldn’t be caught dead doing this but hey, I am a thrill seeker. Firestone asked me to go up for my annual fall shoot. We started off in New Jersey and headed up to Newark, NJ to shoot the Prudential Arena and then off to the Hudson River near the Statue of Liberty to shoot the Liberty National Country Club. (God that NYC air traffic is crazy…I had one eye on the prize and the other eye on my life and traffic). We then headed off to shoot around Giant Stadium and finally to Scanton, PA. As you […]

I was shooting an event at the River Sharks Ball Club in Camden NJ and watched this storm roll in over the New Philadelphia Skyline… NICE! Hand signed original prints are available for sale. A terrific corporate gift idea. Please call (484) 713-5350 for pricing and volume discounts.
What a cool helicopter! I thought I had a month to pull this shoot together, however the designer called me up a day later and told me that the magazine agreed to get us in early. Time to Scramble! 2 days to get a model and set up the shoot…wow. This bird goes 380 mph forward and 80 mph sideways. This is what makes my job so much fun. Thanks for the memories David Kale
What we do a for a “Simple Product Shot” We constantly have clients and prospects asking “It is just a simple product shot, why will it cost that much?” It is not that we are expensive, we are middle of the road as far as pricing is concerned. Well the long and the short of it is, in this case, that because this product is reflective on many sides we needed to set up a rig to hold it; hand positioning is critical for size relationship and no hand model is that good. You want it clipped to a 255 […]
I photographed the 2008 Literacy Heroes today. This is the third year for this event, and it benefits the West Chester Public Library in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Everyone is nominated by a friend or colleague to receive the award, and this is the breakfast where everyone receives their accolades. See more photos here.
Here is an image I shot the other day. We had some plain jane booring parts to photograph and they wanted something much fancier…..we call it a “glamour shot.” This particular image is quite dramatic, with only one light source on the product. Typically we use multiple light sources to enhance and show all features of a product, but once in a while that is not required and interest in the image or product is gained by interesting lighting.
We were contracted to photograph things having to do with public transportation for a brochure. This is my favorite image, showing the fast moving train to the side with people walking along. It shows motion of both the train and the people, keeping your eyes interest. Philadelphia Commercial Photographer UPDATE: We received our Comment card back from the client…..They rated us at the top of the list for Timeliness, Quality of Images, Creativity, Packaging, and Overall Rating. One more satisfied Visual Technology client!
